It has become an annual tradition (this is our 5th year) to take our bikes via the Fort Fisher Southport Ferry and attend the NC 4th of July Festival in celebration of Independence Day. This year because the holiday was actually on Saturday (and we work Saturdays) we went on the 3rd.
We had a great time! There was lots of people watching and we ate at this cute little local BBQ joint called Smokes BBQ….I’m going back….for the food and a GREAT shirt.
