The Tall Ship el Galeon sailed into town on August 14, 2015. We made our way to the Fort Fisher Recreation Area to watch her sale up the Cape Fear River. Though it was an overcast day and the el Galeon was on the far side the river under power (not sail) she still was a magnificent vessel to behold.
In Thursday, August 20th we boarded for a tour of the ship. She did not disappoint.
